Real estate principles

I thought I would post some of my principles when working with clients:

1. I go as fast or slow as you want to go - I don't push people into a decision.  My clients have to find the right timing for them.  I do point out opportunities I see, but try to let them tell me when they are ready.

2. It's about the client - it's not about me.

3. Be truthful, even when the message isn't pleasant.

4. Protect my clients interests.  Work in my clients' interests.

5. I tell buyers not to stretch too much.  We have thousands of examples in the market today of people that stretched for one reason or another.  I recommend people buy a home at a size and price level that they can comfortably afford.

6. Treat your money as if it is my own.

Just a few things I work by.  My approach is consultative and win-win oriented.
