Never tire of looking at homes
As a Realtor, I see a lot of homes and I love it! I love going inside to see how a home looks and what people have done to it. I have special appreciation for those where the homeowner has taken pride in the home. I have tremendous respect where the homeowners has done their best to provide a great home for their family. I have great compassion for those whose homes aren't so nice but they make them the best they possibly can.
I really enjoy this aspect of my career. I don't know that I will ever tire of it either.
Now, I have been in some rough homes too - usually foreclosures but not always. I went in one yesterday that had 7 scorpions inside (6 were alive!) which was a first to see that many in one showing.
I've seen places where appliances, fixtures and even all of the cabinets had been taken. I joked to one client on a property where the kitchen was completely stripped that I thought the house was a great deal for him if he could just eat out all the time!
I've seen some punch holes and places where there was a clear frustration and sense of difficulty.
I've seen blue rooms, red rooms, a "CocaCola" bathroom, and princess rooms. I've seen short sales and with nice flat panel displays all over and even a Hummer in the garage. I've seen stuff, stuff, and more stuff all over. And I've seen empty.
And no matter what, I still enjoy going out there and taking a look. You never know what you will see and even if something is terrible, the next house will be completely different.
Like I said, I never tire of looking at homes and I love this business.
