Gilbert Global Village Festival This Saturday
Gilbert Global Village Festival - Saturday, April 18th
For those that may not be aware, I have a background in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. As such, I want my children to have an appreciation for other countries, cultures, and societies as they get older. The Gilbert Global Village Festival is a great way for families to do the same.
The festival is this Saturday at the Gilbert Civic Center North Campus (Gilbert Road and Warner Road) from 10:00am to 4:00pm. There will be a Parade of Nations, hands-on activities to help learn about other cultures and peoples, and International Bazaar, and other activities through the course of the day.
Given the richness of our world and our community, this is an event worth visiting.
