El Mirage Real Estate

El Mirage, like other Valley cities more on the outskirts such as Queen Creek, Maricopa, Avondale, Buckeye and others, saw explosive new home growth in the last decade.  This is because El Mirage was perceived as an affordable housing market.  For comparison, the 2000 Census recorded 7,609 residents in El Mirage versus the 33,000 today!

El Mirage represents a very inexpensive housing market compared to other more established Valley destinations.  This is largely due to proximity as El Mirage is further north/northwest of Phoenix.  Though growth has been extensive, new home construction in the future is likely to maintain a more modest pace.  Residents who live in El Mirage likely work in neighboring cities such as Sun City.  Luke Air Force Base is another major employer in the area.

El Mirage has a lot to offer its residents and is one of the most unique cities in the Valley with its preservation of its small town feel and wonderful cultural and historical heritage.
